Primer is not a payment processor — it’s a payment orchestration platform.
It doesn’t process payments directly. Instead, it connects and manages multiple payment service providers (PSPs) through a single API and dashboard.

Primer works on top of payment systems like Stripe, it's not a replacement for them.

🛠️ How to Use Primer via web2wave

1. Contact Us

Tell us you want to activate Primer.
Let us know which payment providers you want (e.g. Stripe, Braintree, Adyen). Not sure? We’ll help you pick the right one.

2. Account Setup

We’ll set up:

A sandbox account (for testing)
A production account (live payments)

Or you can connect your own Primer account via API keys in Project Settings.

3. Create Prices

Primer doesn’t manage subscriptions like Stripe.
We’ve built a custom subscription billing engine inside web2wave.

➡️ Go to Plans and Prices → Create your prices and add introductory offers.

4. Build Your Paywall

Go to Paywalls
Create a new paywall
Set paywall type to Primer
Select the Primer prices you created
Add a Primer Checkout Form block to the page
Publish the paywall

5. Customize Primer Checkout

We’ll help you:

Design your checkout form
Connect all PSPs
Set up workflows for routing and fallback

6. Manage Subscriptions

Once a user subscribes:

The subscription is managed in web2wave
Use web2wave Subscriptions section to:
- Cancel subscriptions
- Issue refunds
